Trying to frost a cake... :)

So, Jared made a really good cake... And Jenna and I were going to frost it. We had taken Cake lessons from one of my moms friends, and so we had it all planed out in are minds. We were going to frost the cake, and then with what frosting was left we were going to die it pink and put it along the edges of the cake. Are first problem was, we didn't know how to get the cake out of the pan. Then when we did it fell apart and we said we should have kept it in. Are second problem was, when we tried to frost it.. Well the frosting didn't stick, but the cake came of when we pulled the frosting of. So then we thought we should cut the cake into little squares. But when we did that, the frosting on the cake stuck to the knife we were using and it pulled the cake apart. So in the end we just set every thing down, died the frosting pink, well red... And said it was a frost your own, messed up, tiny, cake square. :)

Hmmmm... How shall we do our hair for the social???

So Jenna and I were doing some hair styles... We didn't know what to do for the social. Here are some pics of how much fun I had with the curling iron! (Well, three curling irons a hair dryer some hair spray and a straightener.) :)

6th grade social!

I'm so exited for 6th grade social! Its kinda like a dance party. I have my dress! Its on the 26th of April and I just cant wait! I'll post some pictures of me all dressed up on the day. I just know that I'm gonna have a awesome time with my friends. :)

Nice to know my hair spray works!

 

When I was getting ready to go back to school for the play.. I decided I would put my hair spray to the test! :) After about ten minutes of brushing and spraying hair spray (And tilting my head so it hurt) I got this!

OBOB

Oregon Battle Of the Books. Aka, OBOB. That’s what we are doing right now. Yes, homeschoolers can do it too. :) As you might know, we have to read sixteen books. Well, I’m done with thirteen of them, so three more! We started real battles Tuesday, I think? Any way. Jared’s team went up today, the scuba-squad. I had to go to play practice, so I was already there. Then my mom came and played for the third grade choir, and I just sat listening. After that, I asked my mom if I could stay and watch Jared’s battle, She decided that she would stay and watch too. So we went and watched Jared’s battle.
Jenna and My team has, well Jenna and I :0 no duh, and three friends. We (If I do say so my self.) Are a great team. We all work together really well, and We are the second best. Besides this one team we just CAN’T beat! It’s so much fun, I’m glade I get to do it.
